K. B. Thors is a poet and performance artist from rural Alberta, Canada. Her debut collection Vulgar Mechanics is forthcoming from Coach House Books (2019). Her translation of Stormwarning by Icelandic poet Kristín Svava Tómasdóttir is out April, 2018 (Phoneme). A chapbook of her Spanish-English translation of a Chintungo: The Story of Someone Else by Soledad Marambio is available from Ugly Ducking Presse. Her essays and poems have been published across the U.S., U.K, and Canada. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University, where she was a Teaching Fellow in Poetry. She recently moved from Brooklyn to Toronto.
